Occupying the space between Public Enemy and Digital Underground, the Afros attempt to balance activism and awareness with the absurd, but it unfortunately runs too long, veers too much, and isn’t either provocative or funny. It’s just flat. That being said, Kickin’ Afrolistics has its moments, but nowhere near enough.
